Hello & Happy Fitness Friday Bella Divas!

Ready for the weekend?  Just because it’s the weekend, doesn’t mean You skip your workout or eat junk all weekend????. Definitely indulge and enjoy your favorite dinner or dessert or extra cocktail, but don’t go off completely.
Ok…now that I gave you that pep talk, let’s talk about why to choose no salt added versions of different canned goods VS salt in them.

As we know sodium will bloat your body if too much salt is consumed. However we NEED salts in our diet to replace the ones you loose while sweating when your working out or doing whatever you love to move your body.
It’s better to choose the no or low salt version and then add your own “healthy” salt such as sea salt or pink Himalayan salt. It’s a much more natural way to consume the salt you need and you have control on how much.

A little Himalayan salt Fact:

Himalayan crystal salt is far superior to traditional iodized salt. Himalayan salt is millions of years old and pure, untouched by many of the toxins and pollutants that pervade other forms of ocean salt.
Known in the Himalayas as “white gold,” Himalayan Crystal Salt contains the same 84 natural minerals and elements found in the human body. This form of salt has also been maturing over the past 250 million years under intense tectonic pressure, creating an environment of zero exposure to toxins and impurities.

Himalayan salt’s unique cellular structure allows it to store vibrational energy. Its minerals exist in a colloidal form, meaning that they are tiny enough for our cells to easily absorb.   ~global healing center
Hope that gives you a better understanding of the value of why to choose certain types of salts in your diet.

A few commons foods I use are:
No salt added: tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans, corn and Etc.

Use with ground turkey to make Italian style meat sauce
One type of pink salt! There are many!

Now go create a tasty new diva-licious meal for the weekend!
Cheers Bella Divas ????????
