Let’s take it back to the basics!! One of the secrets of staying on track with a healthy food lifestyle is keeping it simple. K.I.S.S
Cucumbers are a great Example. Super refreshing, extremely low cal, hydrating & can be used in SO many ways.

  • Favorite Type: English or Baby Persian

Basic: Chop up a whole english cucumber and leave it in a tupperware container in the fridge (stays good for 5-6 days) so you always have low calorie dippers for hummus or guac. 1 whole english cucumber is only 30-40 calories. 1 baby persian (size of a pickle) 10 cal

  • Sprinkle with sea salt or Himalayan salt, add very little balsamic vinegar and add dill! Perfect zingy side dish.
  • Chop up with an avocado, 2 tomatoes, 1/2 red onion, sea salt, basil and have a refreshing snack that is prepared for a few days.
  • Cut into slices and add a little dollop of non fat greek yogurt, dill and smoked salmon
